Leicestershire Student Wins Wrekin Farmers Challenge Cup

Cleo Lacey, of Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, has been awarded the WREKIN FARMERS CHALLENGE CUP for the Best Honours Degree Marketing Dissertation.Cleo, of Melton Mowbray, produced a dissertation entitled ‘Brand it like Beckham - An investigation into the effects of branding within the fashion industry.’
The student said that working on the dissertation developed her passion for the fashion industry even further, and she is currently planning to open a designer accessories boutique in an exclusive shopping area of Nottingham. She hopes to expand her business into men’s designer accessories and national outlets.
Cleo collected her prize at Harper Adams’ annual graduation ceremony last month, where she graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management and Marketing.
